The aim of the project “Waves of the Seven Sounds” was to create visual representations of musical notes as part of a data visualisation project. Through research and experimentation using the science of sound and water, I discovered that playing low-frequency notes through a speaker placed beneath a plate of water produces distinct and varied patterns. These patterns formed the visual basis for translating sound data into visual form.
